Some tools to read and process your data in Matlab are also provided.  A specific installation procedure hopefully working out of the box for the computers is provided for the class. It automates all the steps below. Basically you should just type ./install in the directory you have untar. However, it may be interesting to read the steps below if you need to install the code on other computers or to recompile the code if you start using "user defined function".
